Lessons In Life, volume 4 with doowad
Comment:
Volume 4 of the "Lessons In Life" series finds me and my compadre doowad mixing it up from both an instructional and comedic perspective. We find some humor with our advice in this one from the likes of Zappa, Roger Miller and Foamy the Squirrel. Now that's the kind of advice we all need.Undoubtedly, Doowad is as fine a mixing partner as one could ask for. There's just something about the way he makes mixes. I can't say exactly what it is. But I had it on the tip of my tongue.
To win a copy of the mix, tracked in full sound and with artwork, answer the quiz. What song in the mix was sampled on the Basement Jaxx track, "Red Alert"?
Two downloads are available, the first for a continuous mix and the second for individual songs. The songs have been mastered in the continuous mix, and the individual has simply the basic files.

Feedback:
You two have been instrumental in keeping this site going, encouraging fellow mixers, and setting high standards. Thank you for another great team effort!
A fine example of two major league mixers complimenting each other. Great result guys.
I agree with Johnny and NJR...Great stuff, top to bottom...Super work, as always...
Great collaboration & bold move to include Bobby Goldsboro.
Very nice mix, but I expect that every time you two get together. Laughed aloud when I saw no. 15.
Mmmm! Tasty!
When a mix kicks off with a Jim Croce/Glen Campbell pairing, you can't go wrong. VERY well done, guys.
great work, guys. book-Fnded by classics, also dug the Glen Campbell to Roger Miller section (especially that crazy Wink Martindale track), the Frank Zappa and the Frankie Valli song, which I'd recently heard as covered by the Mary Jane Girls. that Foamy the Squirrel song curdled my blood. thanks for the life advice, in any case.
