Comment:

This mix comprises nearly 15 percent of 196 songs I reviewed from my frie_nd Jim's collection. The biggest reason for a song being rejected was due to it already being used on prior mixes of mine (and many of those had been played a lot anyway since most were big hits). The second most often reason for rejection was that I didn't think the melody or lyrics were interesting or compelling enough. The third most often reason for rejection was the sound quality wasn't good enough (and often the song also wasn't good enough for me to hunt for a replacement or the original recording was of poor quality). This mix is comprised mostly of songs from the 1958-1969 period (except for track 10 which was from 1953). This mix is one of the longer in the series at 79m51s in length.
