The idea for this mix was brought on by the last one I posted. It has to do with the struggle to survive in down times, wishing for something good to happen. I expect the wishing wells around the world have been filling up with coin these days. This is a wish for the best.

Don't know on the quiz, but since Top Gun was around the 80s I'm guessing Lloyd Cole?

Top Gun came out during my freshman year in college. Everybody on my dorm floor raved about it, and the soundtrack was played a lot. So I should know the answer - but I don't, because I was the one female who had no desire to ever see the movie or listen to the soundtrack. Had I known it would come in handy more than 20 years later, I might have paid more attention.

Nice job, by the way. Can't wait to give it a listen.

I'm not a big Matchbox 20 fan, but love that Dionne Warwick track.
