So shoot me--there's nothing overly obscure here, but it's a phenomenal 80 minutes by one of my very favorite bands of the past ten years.

phenomenal indeed. there is no such thing as a bad blur tape. obscure or not. death of a party is just about my fave blur song ever. cheers!

Right on, with so much stuff to choose you're always gonna have trouble but this is damn good. points for 'csbm' which tends to get overlooked.

I think you must know my views on this one by now, Rob! Acoustic version of For Tomorrow - cunning choice.... covers a great song and tries to show that you've considered B-sides! ;)
You must've seen this one coming though - how, I mean - HOW - can you not have TIAL last?! hehe!

grrr! Which just allerted me to the fact that you've neglected the past just as much as the official 'best of:' mix.... shame on you!

Not just 'Leisure'... what about pop scene?! Don't try and tell me you think that's rubbish too?! ;)

"Pop Scene" is dandy... it was one of the last songs cut.

Repetition, Battle, Globe Alone, and Blue Jeans would have been great, I think...

I like that record, but don't love it. I'm sure when I did this mix that "He Thought of Cars", "Country House", "Sterotypes" and "It Could Be You" were all potentially going to be included. I think that Parklife, Blur and 13 are their best albums.
