Comment:
This is the second installment in a mix series focusing on the golden age of Hip-Hop from roughly 1989 to 1996. I mixed this as a single continuous mix in order to make it feel more like a tape. You can check it out at my blog: http://windowseatelectricchair.blogspot.com/
Feedback:
I would say the golden era included 1988 - BDP, Rakim, and others were dropping classics that year....but, that aside, goddamn this brings back some memories. That Heltah Skeltah joint was the anthem for a hot second and the Primo beat for Supa Star...still lovely after all these years. Props for including such lesser known gems like Shades of Culture. Do you remember A Van Full of Pakistans?
