This a birthday mix for myself, songs released in the past year (or two), songs about October, or songs that I link to one personal event or another in the last twelve months of my existence. At first I considered titling this mix "October Rust", thus the cover design, but I didn't want it to get confused with a Type O Neg. album. On my first draft I had the play order essentially reversed , but I wanted the compilation to end on a more happy, festive note. Either way, I am very pleased with the way the songs flow together.
