I just saw 311 in concert. They rocked the house- playing mostly old shit and a few new song. I was so happy I went. I got into 311 in 1999 via "Come Original" I used to skate to the whole Soundsystem album. I love this band. I feel they are very underrated. I can't remember the last time they were in a music magazine as a featured article or something. It's a shame. Spin and Rolling Stone like to big up crappy bands like U2 who fucking suck or have another feature on some flavor of the week. Why not 311? They have a huge following and still touring and rocking out. The band is very talented: Nick's smooth rock vocals...SA's energy and rap verses. Tim's guitar riffing is great. P Nut has funky bass grooves and Chad's drum solo during Applied Science is worth the price of admission. 311 is underrated and underappreciated.
