Comment:
This was made around the time that I was getting into the newer group of metal bands on the scene at the time. This was around the early 2000s. Nu Metal was around but some of the bands were dying out. Real Metal bands were lingering in the heavy metal underground. real, kick ass true metal bands. The scene was too good to go away and some of these bands were be getting bigger and bigger. Shadows Fall, In Flames, Lamb Of God, Meshuggah, Unearth, and Arch Enemy were being heard by a new generation of metalheads. Sure, these bands were around prior to this mix's creation but this is when I started to listen to them on a regular basis. I would go on to see these bands and buy their albums. This was created around the explosion of the New Wave Of American Heavy Metal. This is a damn solid heavy metal mix I think.
