I'm probably giving away my age here, but I remember being a kid in 1979 and that was the year I sorta went from listening to shitty AM radio stations to cool, album-oriented FM stations. This is a set collecting tunes I "cut my teeth" on, so to speak. It was also an amazing year as it was a time when well established bands like Led Zeppelin and Areosmith were sharing airwaves with new wave artists (Joe Jackson, The Clash, Gary Numan). I remember staying up late listening to many of these songs on AOR radio.
