Comment:

Big props to Moose for the title. I've been meaning to make an 'angry' tape for a while, and finally did it tonight in a fit of creativity and insomnia. If you don't know the lyrics to the songs, all you need to know is this: I'm 30, unemployed in a field that's currently eating itself, single, and have had a real shitty year so far besides. So I'm a little bitter :) I tried to use songs and artists that I rarely use. Most of the songs are about being angry, about the reasons for being so, or failing that just loud, heavy and fast. However, since I'm not one to let the world get the better of me, some songs are somewhat hopeful. Oh, and it'll fit on a 100 minute tape *exactly* though that's purely a coincidence.

Always glad to see Canada's answer to the NY Dolls, Teenage Head on a mix. I'd forgotten them until I found a CD of their complete recordings in a budget bin last week. Gotta pull those ABBA LPs out today to see how 'angry' they are.

wow! i love the iron maiden followed by inxs... that's just great, oh... and i freaking love abba. 'the name of the game' gets me every time. abba are not so much angry as a little jaded and cynical. i think it works. cheers.

Only way I can think of improving this would be to have Big Black follow ABBA directly. But the presence of them together in one collection like this is still inspired.
