you know i love you, man, but anyone who allows the friggin beatles's insufferably lukewarm cover of "twist and shout" to live on (and we're talking about a record here infused with such bland, insipid singing that it has been PROVEN to make peoples's ass cheeks tighten up and squeek like bats from hell- those who allow this sonic nightmare to live on will be the first damned to THE eternal fires at armageddon. what's next- pat boone's cover of "tutti fruitti" instead of the orginal? c'mon, i'm disappointed in you- ISLEY BROTHERS, MAN; ISLEY BROTHERS!!!

Lukewarm? I don't think so ... In fact, the Beatles version of "Twist and Shout" has been hailed by Beatles historians as one of Lennon's best and most explosive vocals.

Twist & Shout doesn't define either band so forget about that song already. Heh. This was made for his little sister, keep that in mind. Though i don't think their tastes differ all that much but nevertheless, it's a sweet gesture. I made one for my sister and she loved it.

I think both versions are great myself. But they aren't my favorite by either band.
