Comment:
I already made a thrash mix retrospective and even posted it on this website but I decided to re-do it for 2 reasons. One, I'm going to see 2 big thrash shows this year and two, the first mix needed to be better. On the first mix, I added 3 bands that weren't really the most true thrash bands. Bands on there like Shadows Fall, Lamb Of God, and Trivium are great metal bands but even they would admit they aren't the most thrash bands out there. Thrash has a certain feel, look and sound to it. Also, on that first mix, I didn't have some key bands. For this mix, I wiped the slate clean and started anew. I decided to start off the "The Big Four" bands of thrash metal. That was a no brainer. Testament and Overkill next, since they are huge thrash stars. Nuclear Assault! They weren't even on my first mix and they damn well should have been. Laaz Rockit and Vio-lence are here too. I feel I nailed this thrash mix.
