i live in the middle of nowhere... Colorado. There is the man up the street from me who owns about 100 cows. sometimes when they're moved, one gets lost from the group. it then spends the night making all sorts of racket. a cow cry is amazing. it's loud, grating, atonal, and very sad. a mix in honor of the lost cows.

oh ye of many aliases - having spent time at chez friend in carbondale, co, i actually knoweth of the phenomenon of which you speak. in fact, a gentleman seemed to just let them wander freely about, all the time. you'd be going for a morning run and *boom!*, a cow. re: the tape - as usual, A++ - the weddoes gang of four cover? really? where have i been missing this?
