Comment:
Ah, Connecticut hardcore. my old stomping grounds of Connecticut. Not all of these bands are from CT but a few are. Connecticut has a damn good hardcore scene- from the old days in the 80s to now. Connecticut had the Anthrax club which brought many big hardcore bands to CT. Connecticut gets props from Sworn Enemy when they told us "Connecticut has one of the toughest scenes in the country" I'm pissed the Connecticut scene got barely a paragraph in Steven Blush's otherwise awesome American Hardcore book that documents the scene from '80-'86. Yeah, this was probably the first mix I made specifically for hardcore punk I was getting into at the time. As told time and time again, hardcore kids in highschool got me into hardcore. I started getting into hardcore more and more. I was pissed for a lot of reasons then. Hell, i'm still pissed.
