Comment:
I'm going to Arizona to visit a good friend at the end of July and we'll be taking a couple mini-road trips around the Southwest while I'm there. I wanted a tape that has a pretty high sing-a-long factor because that's what two girls on the road do a lot of the time. The title comes from an anecdote my friend told me. She worked in a restaurant and one evening was pretty slow. She went into the kitchen to talk to some of the cooks and unconsciously started taping the metal table with a pair of salad tongs. Someone began singing Tainted Love until the entire staff and some of the customers broke out in song.Feedback:
I approve! Ned's Atomic Dustbin _and_ TMBG :)
I dig it!
I must applaud your use of Spacehog, John Lennon, and STP. Well done. Well done indeed.
I'm diggin your usage of the Violent Femmes and They Might be Giants!
one of the best mixes i've found on this site. i love the little anecdote. the only time that happened to me was singing the start of the musical 'joseph', surpising how many people know the words from their schooldays!
