Comment:

This mix was originally submitted to Zen Running Order on March 3, 2010. The original notes (no comments) are as follows:

Well, there's quite a few soundtrack items this time around! Let's see, we've got...four from "A Clockwork Orange," three from "Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey," one from "Shortbus," one from "Blade Runner," one from the original '78 Romero "Dawn Of The Dead," and one from "Lisztomania"! Plus, I thought I'd include Vera Lynn's version of "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles," because I've been on kind of a Ken Russell kick lately, and that was sort of the theme song to Russell's 1969 film of D.H. Lawrence's "Women In Love" (although not Vera Lynn's version). I recently got a compilation of Vera Lynn songs recently, because I wanted to put "We'll Meet Again" at the end of my last mix. Granted, it's not really my cup of tea overall, but I figured I might as well get as get as much mileage out of it as I could! :-)
