My friend Sean started this comic book series that accompanies a mix tape, where each issue tells the story of why each song is important to him (see it here: http://microcosmpublishing.com/catalog/zines/3426/). It inspired me to make this tape of Jonathan Richman, who's maybe my all-time favorite, of songs that, in my head, narrate the modern era of my life. I made the liner notes a little book breaking down the meaning of each song to me. I'd tell you more, but I don't know you that well.
