| Day 1 - Your Favourite Song From A Movie Soundtrack: When I was 16 our family went on holiday to Florida, it was a big thing and I bought the Titan A.E. OST and Queensryche's 'Greatest Hits' album to listen to on the way. This was on the former and gave me a nice little bundle to listen to mixed in with rock, pop, dance, reggae and rap. A few years later me and some mates sat down and watched the film. It was funny. It was patriotic. Nev shouted 'GOD BLESS AMERICA!' every so often. We laughed. | ||

Stereo sound took on a whole new meaning, concept and atmosphere added a new dimension to a flat space previously occupied by three minute pop songs and some classical music. It may have been 20 years old, it was still cutting edge. Still is. | ||

Having been dragged along by my parents I trawled through the second hand record stall and found a square 7" picture disk single. It looked cool. The Myst series was great, a slide show you could become lost, books and a story that you could get involved with. You just had to free your mind and imagine you were there. The third one nailed it, the series took a turn for the worst afterward. | ||

He was in a car with some mates up by Kingstanding they lost control, hit a tree and ricochet the car into some railings. In a coma for six days, the lad died on the seventh. He was due to do his A Levels and had broken up for exam leave, they played this at the 'Prom' for him. | ||

The came, they saw and were critically ignored. Short tracks didn't go well with airplay. Maybe to many bands sounded the same and came before. I'll never know really. And the only track I can find is a B-side I don't own. | ||

Get through the first thirty seconds and you're doing fine. | ||
