A mix around Eno's new release, Drums between the Bells:

I had an entirely different mix on the drawing board & then...the new Eno disc arrived (well, actually the link to the mp3 version - the CD version showed up via U.K. post a few days later).

It's a Techno-Pop-Jazzy mashup with poetry (words of Rick Holland) for lyrics - so I sought to extrapolate/expand, giving myself a maximum of 4 of the new tracks off of which to rebound/organize the sound. A "shout-out" to Curtis Burns for the 17f & B, B & C albums...veritable lynchpin tracks on this mp3 play-list; and to Robert Fripp & Co. for hitting one out of the park (via 'A Scarcity of Miracles').

The terse, techno track 23 is from Eno's 2010 collaboration with guitarist Leo Abrahams 'A Small Craft on a Milk Sea'; track 24 is my Audacity reworked version of Eno's 57 -second piece "Silence" (a la John Cage & now with reverb, subtle bass & shifting stereo channels).
