in an alternate universe (one more perfect than this one) "a shot in the arm" would have been the best selling single ever. oh, well. i continue to wish, however vainly.

interestingly enough, i just got back from listening to this with her and i was surprised, she wasn't upset about the semi-harsh songs (4,5,18,19)... i guess when it's a beautiful song it's easier to swallow your pride, right?
