My best friend is British, and she and I put this together because she was feeling homesick. It's great for in the car, which is where we usually listen to it. Wasn't sure how to categorize it, but I put theme since it is all British bands, with perhaps a bit of fudging in places.Feedback:

the beatles were too old for this one. that tape would also include the kinks, the who, the animals, etc...

i thought of that right after I posted! let me put it this way then, we decided to keep it to more recent british artists.
wasn't 'something for the weekend' the divine comedy? You know - 'she said, there's something in the wood shed - or am I thinking of something else?
you are right -- divine comedy do have a song called 'something for the weekend' too. after making the tape, i thought i should have put it on after the super furry animals, which is a different song. by the way, 'something 4 the weekend' is their spelling, not mine 8-)
