Comment:
Given the task to construct a tape for someone with some key artist as guidelines. It was my joyful endeavor to "connect the dots" sonically.Feedback:
out of curiosity, where is that lee ranaldo song from?
The Ranaldo song comes from the album "From Here To Infinity" on SST.
Is that the record with 10 locked grooves on one side & a Savage Pencil etching on the other? Where's the Alice song from?
Yep, thats the record. Alice cut is from Pretties For You.
Oh yeah, there it is! Hardly ever listen to those first 2 Alice LPs. What the hell's the story with the cover to that one? Never could figure it out. Next question: which Kaleidoscope is that? Mexican Psyche or David Lindley's Folk outfit?
Actually The Kaleidoscope in question is from the UK. I will make amends to note that on this mix and note the Lindley outfit on a previous post.
"reflected"!!! i'm jumping up and down and screaming in blind, blathering, bloody glee that you put that song on here...!
This is a phenomenal mix.
From one snob to another, thanks for the ultra-obscure band clarification.
Kaleidoscope UK are the best! 2nd lp 'Faintly Blowing' is phenomenal if yo don't have it! Bat Macumba Hey Hey!! Excellent Mix!
