I really took my time making this mix, because of not only looking for perfect songs to fit the theme but I have been so busy with work and life around me. It's a labor of love and this mix was also created in solidarity with the WORLDWIDE Occupy Wall Street movement that is occurring. Brothers and sisters, I want a change in this country that we live in. There's a number of things that need to change in America, but I would like to change the class systems in America. There are too many ghettos where people are striving in everyday struggles just to support their families and to live decently. Meanwhile on miracle mile and wall street and beverly hills and most of new england, the well off people in this country who sip on starbucks lattes and drive fancy sports cars, get to live the high life and basically run America. The rich in this country havc power and run the corporations that keep America running. The gap between the two dichotomies is staggering and needs to be changed. The middle class is also struggling. The recession really fucked things up. Gas prices are way, way TOO HIGH. America will likely not change, at least overnight, but this Occupy movement is drawing attention and yes creating awareness of the fallacies in the USA. I am all for peaceful protest and protests are necessary to begat change. America is too cool of a country, overall, to ruin. If we are Number 1, why all this muck? We, as Americans, are better. than. this. Occupy.
