Comment:

This mix was originally submitted to Zen Running Order on May 18, 2010. The original notes and/or comments are as follows...

Darth Pazuzu (05-18-2010):
"Floor Show: Rose Tint My World / Fanfare / Don't Dream It, Be It / Wild And Untamed Thing" < "The Trial" < "Outside The Wall" - The SECOND (and I think the better) of my "Rocky Horror"/"Wall" mash-ups! Check out this transition:

RIFF RAFF: "Frank-N-Furter, it's all over / Your mission is a failure, your lifestyle's too exteme / I'm your new commander, you are now my prisoner / We return to Transylvania, prepare the transit beam!"

FRANK: "Wait! I can explain..."

[Cut to later on]

"Good morning, Worm your honour! / The Crown will plainly show the prisoner who now stands before you / was caught red-handed showing feelings...!"

In other words, Dr. Frank-N-Furter is on trial for Pink's crimes! Which is kind of funny when you consider that Tim Curry actually played the Prosecutor in Roger Waters' 1990 Berlin show! That would mean, in a way, the character is putting HIMSELF on trial. Funnily enough, however, that's more or less exactly what Roger Waters intended for the character of Pink! So this little mash-up of mine is actually thematically in keeping with the material...! :)

Mr. Mirage (05-19-2010):
Love this, love the title!! One of my (many) fave Annie cuts...

doowad (05-19-2010):
I'm with James on the Annie, but add the Nitzsche/Cooder, Dylan, U2 (eee gads) and the final 4.
