Named after the most famous person born on the same day as me - here's a best of 1977.

An all-around excellent mix! This was certainly a great period for rock music. From Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" to the Pistols' "Bodies" to Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" to Judas Priest's "Sinner" to Heart's "Barracuda" to Bowie's "'Heroes,'" this mix certainly cuts a wide swathe through the musical landscape of 1977-78! And most of those songs rank among my favorites of this period. Just plain awesome...and great picks from Iggy, the Stones, Ramones and Talking Heads, too!

Thanks for the kind words. I know Beast Of Burden is technically a year early, but I kept it in on the dual reasoning that a) They probably recorded it in 77 and b) it is my favourite Rolling Stones song. Glad you enjoyed it though.
