Comment:
Long derided (and rightly so) for trading in their jazzy licks for 80s corporate power balladry, even Chicago's most famous songs of the 70s were geared more towards pop/rock radio. And while there albums were always inconsistent, there was always more to Chicago then what we got on the radio. This collection of obscure singles and album tracks highlights what I think is the best Chicago had a to offer - and eclectic mix of rock, jazz, funk, and even a little music hall ("Harry Truman") and country("Lowdown", "In Terms of Two").Feedback:
Well said, well chosen. Lotsa good improv stuff on Chicago VII, and VI was under-rated. And they were never the same after Terry Kath died.
