Comment:

this exciting new film was directed by russ meyer and michael bey and will be released in the fall of 2001 by american international pictures. it is based on the famous mid-18th century novel, "les fromages et les savy robots", and concerns the wacky hijinks of three intrepid mixaholics lost in the wilds of omaha, nebraska during the now-legendary "pudding riots" of 1974. they are saved from certain doom in the last reel, however, by the kindly ghost of john lee hooker. this film has not yet been rated.

Hey man! I love A.I.P films, heck I love all those "exploitation" flicks not to mention the groovy soundtracks. Storyboard the baby, whats the worst that happens--we get a few free lunches. Ironically, your blurb might just work for that 30 second pitch.

Far out mix! I love The Ventures version of "Lolitta Ya Ya" & would love to hear the original. If R Meyer is directing this then which amazon-esque actress will be starring?

My friend, you've outdone yourself. I'm proud to have my name associated with this in any way (and, of course, am requesting the requisite copy). I''d be happy to do a sequel, as well.

Nice inclusion of the Gants track, btw, which is an old favorite of mine (see my "Passion Looks Like a Painting" mix).
