Comment:
firstly, no, "wishing i was skinny" is not on here. i knew you would ask me why, and well, there's no real reason other than absent-mindedness and the fact that i've probably heard it one time too many over the years. second, i made this mix back when i preached the gospel of 110-minute tapes; i've since stopped using them (the tape's too thin, it breaks, it gets stuck in my car stereo and the entire world crumbles, etc.), so if you're interested in trading for this one, please note that it's going to be a newly-minted version, and probably sans a couple of the tracks listed here. once i do remake the new version, i'll amend this post, most likely. third, and finally...weren't these guys just IT back in 1993? they stumbled a bit with the pretty lackluster "c'mon kids!" towards the end of their run, but redeemed theirselves with the quite impressive "kingsize", their final LP. pardon me now, my shoes are in desperate need of gazing.Feedback:
Wake Up Boo!?? Where be's it??
i think the only things that made the cut from "c'mon kids" were "trapped in amber", which is gorgeously stirring, and "find the answer within". my preferred boo-rads sounds were the trippier or noisier ones, rather than most of the overtly "happy" "pop" moments, it seems....sorry, hooha...
people seem to have forgotten the boo radleys. it's a shame cause for a while 'giant steps' was just ace. anyway this makes me smile, cept no 'lazarus'
