Comment:
songs that, for whatever reason, fell into my life and changed it irreversably. my step-sister took me to my very first gig; it was the talking heads and it was back in '83. i was transformed, changed, stunned, born. the next day i began researching CBGB's and punk rock and all that crap. one thing led to another (and one band to another and so on and so on...) and it's plain to me that all of the music that's meant the most to me over the years has somehow been a result of that introduction to a brand new world of sound...these are the tunes that made me the obsessive sonic-consumer i am today. (as this is one of those accursed 110-min. mixes, anyone wanting a trade will need to sit tight until i can make a new 100-min. version...oh, and my turntable's messed up, so some of these cuts won't make the re-edit. you won't mind, honest)Feedback:
Party with me, punker!
