A slapdash autobiographical mix; bands that helped shift my musical tastes, with a song from the first album of theirs I heard/owned. It's very selective, and it focuses on two or three main threads in my musical tastes, but that's all you can do with one tape. But hey, if you've got the voyeuristic desire to watch me develop my taste in music over the course of about 4 years from someone who thought that the only band that mattered was the Who to a mainstream alterna-kid to someone who has a nice little collection of indie, new wave, 80's college rock, classic rock, folky singer-songwriters, pre-punk, punk, post-punk, goth, etc., enjoy; it's been a fun trip.
