Comment:

Lately I've gotten rather sick of seeing Punk mixes with bands like Green Day, Offspring and Blink 182 on them. So I decided to dig out a bunch of my old punk albums and make this mix. You won't find any wimpy wannabe punk bands on here, just the good shit I used to listen to when I was a little high school punk. A few of these songs actually got me in trouble in school, I almost got suspended for playing the Damned's Jet Boy Jet Girl in Art class, my teacher thought it was pornographic and I had to go speak to the principal. Anyways, hope you old punk fans enjoy this mix and I hope this will expose some of the younger punks to some great punk music that was made before they were born.

You all sound like Lars from Rancid. So uptight about bands like MxPx and New Found Glory and all that pop/punk shit. Ya know the Buzzcocks and Ramones were pretty tame music, too.

Any time I wore a bad religion shirt, i was asked ("told") to say the morning prayer. I got a SNFU FYULABA shirt purely because I liked the monkey on the back since fyulaba wasn't really amazing, but after wearing it to school a phone call was made home.
Our art teacher I think might have appreciated the Damned, we never gave her a chance. But my mother, she has a sick crush on Mike Ness and Danzig. My kid sister on the other hand who claims to be "punk as fuck" would figure this the brocolli of punk. pfft

kick ass mix nonetheless!!

Right on, bro! Fuck all those mass marketed allegedly punk pop bands. Just a different branch of the teen-pop world domination enterprise. Same shit from different assholes.
