More wireless-ness:. Stepping in and out of genres is a passion of mine. That being said, I had a tough time deciding how to categorize this one: 'Experimental' or 'Ambient' (which probably is why I'm listening to this so much as of late). The 2nd puzzle piece of a sonic, wireless jigsaw, proto-col establishes, early on, a choppy base sound-line that zigs in and out of phase in non-linear, multi-directional waves. It furthers a "white-noise" story line that will come to its completion in Part 3. The cover art is entitled "www.atercolour.wash"

In general, Nice mix. Being #2 of three, it's a bit hard to put into context as a project (I've only heard #2), but as a stand-alone piece, it has an odd cohesiveness. Stuart Dempster's "Morning Light" is a beautiful opening piece, awash with texture. "#7" catches one by suprise with a delightful, quirky "pop" that's not quite pop. Initially I was irritated by the unfiltered noise in OST's "Untitled", but discovered a seeming structure that is obnoxious, but interesting.

Side two features "weejo" and "known", both better songs than those on side 1 by the same artists, LAN and e-co.

I believe that I would have ended the mix with spatula's "empire of the sun", rather than the anti-climactic "act 1, scene 3" by z'ev, and I disliked having to experience musicus-interuptus on the track "didjerlayover", but all-in-all an enjoyable mix. Good job!

Thanks for the review. Folks the great Borlip is a renowned (in small circles) Experimental/Electronic musician/soundscapist and I am humbled that he has taken the time, herein, to constructively critique my mix effort. I will endeavor even harder now to create perfection in mix form. Alas the "didjerlayover" mp3 DOES end abruptly (perhaps I can fix that with a fade-out and thus save the mix's now slightly tarnished reputation). But I get down on my knees to thank Borlip for his insight and mild praise.
