Comment:
I like to think I'm pretty down with what 'da kids' are listening to these days, but Modest Mouse turn up on all these mixes and I've never even heard of them. Ditto Yo La Tengo. And while I've got your attention, what exactly is 'Texas medicine'? [as in 'the other one was railroad gin'] Or is Bob just talking nonsense again?Feedback:
I'm assuming that you probably don't recognize any of the bands on the "indie rock" tapes (if so--avoid all of my mixes), but I just had to congratulate you on a tape that has "Buffalo Stance" on it. That brings back memories of being 13, chubby and uncool.
Gotta love Wham!
hey, glad I'm not the only one who has no clue...I've been buying a bunch of CDs recently to try to keep up...and it's usually mixed with something I like, so I have liked most of the stuff I bought...Buffalo Stance is such a great song! YEAH!!! Love the Van Halen choice too...
This is an excellent mix. Takes me way back to my misspent childhood...
Wow....the Christians. Have not heard a single note by them in a decade.
