Comment:

This is one of many subversive musical artist introductory mix tapes I made for a friend back in '93 I believe. The Ramones were always good to end cassette sides with if and when I suspected I had less than 2 minutes of space left.

Wow! This tape is WAY better than anything I would have made in '93!

selections from 'fingertips' by they might be giants are also dynamite time-filler, especially when it's those annoying 30 seconds of time at the end of a side. this is a part of mix tape theory that would make a good discussion board topic.

The Primitives worked famously for that rerason as well......especially Crash.

hmm, I'm always too hung up with getting the *perfect* closing song(MBV-'Soon', TM-Shark) to worry about that extra minute. Maybe
I'll start throwing on Kristin Hersh instrumentals.

I always used to throw on "Short Songs" by the Dead Kennedys when I didn't have much room left...regardless of the theme of the tape. Kinda sounded odd at the end of a pop-type mix, though... :-)

Adrift, Something I can Never Have, Desert Kisses, This Corrosion, Millimillenary... Lemme guess: You wore a lot of black back in '93, right? Seriously though, as cool a mix of gloompop as i've come across on these lists.
