Comment:
Yet another sordid tale when I go to a store and lose all control. I went to a place called Half Price Books and seemingly they had a better vinyl selection than a book selection! I picked up best of vinyl from the commodores (except brick house skips!), rolling stones, the monkees, wings and donovan, as well as two elvis costello LPs and on top of that Call and Response and the new Aden LP (the Aden in a clearance bin for $3) and then decided to make this tape.Feedback:
This is a way cool mix, although I have a feeling that you got the considerably lesser version of "Catch the Wind" if you got Greatest Hits on vinyl... :-)
Nice! You should come to Sydney and check out Gould's... they're a second-hand bookshop/newsagent with a mighty vinyl section too. Nice stuff.
Once again Mr. Conroy, you are correct. What I heard was not what I was expecting. But I think the Donovan LP convinced me that I need to get my hands on more Donovan.
Ha, amazing, we've all been there. Imperial Records in Bristol, too much for a lowly bookseller!
