Comment:
An introductory V.U. starter kit for your younger sibling, son, daughter, neice or nephew who may badly need an alt-rock history lesson... I think I caught most of the essentials here (better than either of the two single disc best-of's I find in the racks), though admittedly not many surprises - Hey, this is for the uninitiated after all (let's save the darker, more experimental tracks like "Venus In Furs" and "European Son" for the next go 'round)... Plus I included the two most famous tracks from Lou Reed's post-V.U. solo period... The track order is mostly alphabetical, but I think it flows rather nicely, and the songs themselves are (of course) amazing.

Awesome mix man...I'm a big VU fan...the only thing I would have added: Hold Your Head Up High!!! But this thing is really tight. You make good mixes.
P.S. I've been told that I don't make a bad mix myself. So if you're interested in trading random tapes, I'm all for it. Peace- T-Man
