this is very much in progress ... I'm still debating about a few of these tracks, like joan osborne + kd lang. while I think they have incredibly sexy voices, the songs aren't quite up to the level of janet's would you mind, nightclub's french kiss, or melissa's drive ... I am considering also adding madonna's justify my love fuck me mix.further suggestions for tracks would be appreciated ... thanks to all who have sexmixes up on aotm already, I browsed through a lot of them and downloaded lots of mp3s to preview. some of them were added (lamb, luscious jackson).

Try Liz Phair's "Flower" and most of the stuff by Portishead just sounds like sex as in "Glory Box" and "Numb"
Bowie has a great track, off the Buddha of Suburbia album, called "Sex & the Church."

there's a lot of great older songs... "all of you," ella fitzgerald (and a lot of other stuff ella sang)... "I want you (she's so heavy)" the beatles... I suppose it depends on what type of music you're looking for.

Check out the Justify My Love "Fuck Me Mix". It would go nicely here, too. ;)
Personally I think you can't do a proper sex-themed mix without "This Is Hardcore" by Pulp. "That goes in there, that goes in there... and then it's over..."
now, is this a "creating a mood" thing or something to play in the act? because i think that pulp song might be a serious mood killer. don't more people enjoy subtlety? :)

yes, I agree lottie, that's partially why I didn't choose madonna's justify my love fuck me mix. I actually want songs that would be inspiring and sensuous rather than just songs *about* sex. the janet song is actually kind of borderline too, just because of the ending ... and I did hear that rufus wainwright song "instant pleasure" but it didn't do much for me.

My girlfriend made a "Get It On" disc, and, I must say, when "Sexy Boy" by Air came on, things got a little crazy. Check that out, and how about "Let's Get It On"? It's almost too obvious, but it's a classic. "Raspberry Swirl" is a good choice, but "She's Your Cocaine" is a bigger turn-on. For me, at least.
My vote is definitly for Melissa Ferrick's, Drive but since it is already there, I would have to say Paula Cole, Feelin' Love.

Janet Jackson, "I Get So Lonely" is my favorite, but really anything off the Velvet Rope Album will work. I personally don't think "raspberry swirl" works well, but to each their own. There is an Ani song that I love off the new album that works too . . .
and don't forget "Sweet Jane" by Cowboy Junkies -- one of the sexiest songs ever written
I'm finding that the scarlet spectrum feels remix of raspberry swirl is just perfect. working on a new incarnation of this mix.
My suggestions would be Kiss by Meredith Brooks and Come Together by the beatles. They might fit better with what you're going for.
