well, halfway thru making this mix, i found out that urusei yatsura have broken up. sigh. easily one of my very favorite bands of the last 5 years, they were a truly split-personality-monster under yer bed...sweetly poptastic one minute and terrifyingly NOISY the next. they were like bubblegum with broken glass hidden in it, and i'll miss them dearly. check out www.multimania.com/yatsura/index.html when you get a sec, huh? oh, and fuck the system.
