This is a pretty fine taste, indeed. I've been thinking of doing a series of jazz comps like this, and Miles was obviously one of the first that I'd do. However, back in the day I did a cassette Coltrane comp that just didn't capture him the way I'd like to... these are tough because of the length of the songs and the true span of development of each jazz musician. But you did a great job. "Flamenco Sketches" is my absolute favorite... nice to see it included.

I am a new Miles Davis fan (after my Dr. gave my wife a prescription of A Kind of blue) After getting that cd and his cd called Classic Ballads,he is without a doubt my fave Jazz artist as well as A kind of blue bieng my 2nd fave Jazz cd ever made (1st bieng Jazz for a rainy day) There are many songs here though that I have never heard before but from what i can gather,this is a wonderful mix in its own right - nice job!
