Comment:

The inspiration here should be obvious: I decided to make my own version of Island's classic Tougher Than Tough box set, which told the story of Jamiacan Music in 95 songs spread over four CDs. Using my at-the-moment limited resources (most of my CDs are in boxes at the moment), I fashioned my own version: 80 songs that would fit onto four CD-74s, span a similar length and include none of the same songs (or at least records) as the first box. This is disc one.

Hey--this looks great. Quite frankly, I've really been looking for a great comp of '60s reggae... is there a chance you'd want to trade for one of my mixes?

Outstanding series that has the freedom to expand beyond whatever C Blackwell owns. I've been attemptting a 60's Jamiacan Soul mix since the beginning of Summer, but it keeps going soft & squishy in the middle. Care to make a trade for this?

uh, the original box goes beyond whatever Blackwell owns, too--less than half of it is Island product.
