Comment:
i have never been much for so-called sexy cds... i guess dance beats and low moans remind me more of being thirteen at a skating rink than an adult experiencing sex. this mix is not a soundtrack for making out, it's just an exploration of these songwriters' ideas. /pretensionthe rufus wainwright is a leonard cohen cover
the wilco/billy bragg is by woody guthrie.
the title is from collette.
Feedback:
ya! go ani, and portishead, and aretha! ending a mix with pulse is so perfect. i love that song.
Lovely sex mix. Buuut I think "Sexy Sadie" was written about the Maharishi. LOL.
Excellent idea for a mix... and while "Pulse" is seductive (despite, or even because of, the most romantic vomit-in-hair lyric i've ever heard), i would hope "Rape Me" and "Chopsticks" don't need to be labeled "not ideal for making out" *grin*. I know only seven of the songs, but it seems like a well-chosen bunch.
