Comment:

Ok here I go, another bunch of my old cassette mix tapes. This series known as "Radio Stuff" is kinda obvious where the songs come from. It reflects how I listen to the radio (you know, flipping around aimlessly trying to find anything that I like). It also reflects my mood for what I wanted to hear off the radio. I wanted these tapes to show what I was listening to at the time of each of them. I didn't care if already had the song on another tape. Also, a lot of these songs on these tapes are incomplete which would get me to try and get it later (sometimes on the same tape, sometimes on another tape). I also would get versions of songs that different DJs mixed when my local radio stations would broadcast live from clubs. It's been awhile since I've contributed so I thought this would be a nice time to share. This tape is called the preview because I made it to see how I would like to make tapes based on stuff off of the radio. And that's what happened, I liked it, and started making them. By the way these tapes were made during my 7th - 8th grade years (April '98- May '99).

I hope reviewing these tapes bring back good memories for you. For pre-angst Alanis, view my SATAN's BOOGIE. There's even a picture (circa. 1993)of the Canadian pop icon.
