Talia's gonna be my roommate in like, 2 weeks, and we have very similar tastes in music. Except while I listen more to grunge and classic rock and random bands with cool accents (like Pulp and the Proclaimers) she listens more to indie rock (like Modest Mouse) and "chicks with guitars" (like Ani). So these are songs I think she will like by bands she may not know terribly well...oh! and you know what else is cool? The tape is EXACTLY NINETY MINUTES LONG! i applaud kalafia for a fairly accurate explanation of the similarities *grin* of our music tastes. (right now we are, in fact, listening to modest mouse while she goes through my cds.) well, i'm one listen into it, and i'd say she accomplished what she set out to do. and i am _highly_ impressed by the timing. you've gotta love tapes with no lag at the end of either side. welcome to aotm, k!
