Comment:

(That's polish with a short 'o'.) The second of the two tape set. The first side of this mix sets out to capture some of the Pumpkins' more abrasive moments, and the second, the band's more refined, glossy music. For these tapes, I did not focus so much on using obscure songs just to prove how much SP stuff I have. It includes "Here is No Why", which I consider to be on of the top 5 best alternative songs ever written (next to Radiohead's "My Iron Lung", Nirvana's "Scentless Apprentice", and 2 more that I can't name right now).

I've always loved "Here Is No Why." That song, "Rocket," and "To Forgive" are probably my favorite Pumpkins songs. Even though they are not on these tapes, this is a fine series.

I always did think that that part was a little odd. If this were any band other than the Pumpkins (or the Deftones) I'd make some sick joke about having a "special relationship" with your brother, but I think that he deserves a little more respect than that.
