Comment:
I made this mix almost a year ago after seeing the Exorcist for the first time. I was blown away by that movie, so I decided to come up with an alternate soundtrack for it. I wanted this mix to show the different changes that Regan goes through during the movie. Of course, Tubular Bells has to be there so I kept it. At the beginning everything is fine and happy but there's another force in the house (illustrated in tracks 2-4). Her more obvious changes are illustrated in tracks 5-7. I wanted to use the Apocalyptica version of Fade To Black instead of Metallica's because it represents that innocence still inside Regan even though she's changing. Track 8 represents the transformation completing and tracks 9,10,& 12 show the carnage left behind. I put track 11 in there to show Regan's desire to be set free. Tracks 13-16 illustrate the Exorcism itself which ironically ends with Stairway To Heaven. It was a fun one to make.Feedback:
Kick Ass Mix! Awesome!
lol. That's the funniest thing I've seen in ages. Sorry if it's not meant to be funny. But in my mind I'm watching the film to that soundtrack and I'm pissing myself.
Good work, mate.
Good work, mate.
Uh, thanks. I guess.
Additional Comments: My intention with this mix was not to have the soundtrack go on during the movie, but for this to be one of those "music inspired by..." soundtracks. It doesn't exactly mean that I wanted to hear these songs in the movie. They're just songs I thought would go good with the movie.
