One of my favorite bands of the 90's: post-rock, trip-hop, futurist-pseudo-krautrock or whatever you wanna call 'em... This mix is pretty much chronological, and covers all three of their albums, their contributions to the Offbeat aids-benefit (the excellent "Looking For the Jackelope") and Wire tribute ("German Shepherds") albums, nothing from their first EP (Antenna), but their first song ever (from the UK booklet + CD 'Volume' series)... Their songs do run a bit long, so I had to omit quite a few great tracks, but this is still a great introduction to a fine band... The CD cover image is Andy Goldworthy's 'Icicle Star'
