Comment:

The title references the cover art, "Leaves in Wind", finger painted by my 4 year old daughter, Dayna, -(then scanned & sized @ the Labs)- an abstract work in and of itself. J-card offerings are my inspiration and impetus as of late. Used to be I made a mix then went hunting for the appropriate artwork; now I create and size the cover THEN make the mix. A father-daughter project that blends avant-garde classical, ambient, and electro-noise - (+ a cool bjork track I stumbled upon online) - to produce a pseudo-relaxing sound-mass. Final round in the 802.11 series.

mmm, this mix is quite beautiful. with special consideration for that mathias grassow song--it's a delight. your submitted artwork is always enchanting, and this time is no exception. inspiring!

I think I see a budding Miro in the Bulmer family & your contribution looks outstanding too. Is this a one-off or the start of a new collaberative series?

I would love to request that while I enjoy the program "Echoes" aired on swell radio stations, they replace it with g.a.b. labs. I also dig the art work by your daughter.

Another nice-looking mix and cover. Tell Dayna she did a good job. And instead of taking my hat off to you all the time, I think I will just leave it off in perpetuity ...

...actually the next mix (already in the 'can') features a cover painting by my son Gregory (5), who, while in pre-school, garnered inclusion into an art exhibit comprised of 1st & 2nd graders(-!-)... ~:-p

Agreed with Alissa Crayon :o) Cant say I know many of the artists on this mix, bar Eno, Radiohead and Bjork.. gab you'll have to *promise* me a trade when I get hold of a cassette player, it looks like i'm in need of an abstract education! ::: -||- :::
