Boys keep swinging ! My son (5 years old) noticed his sister's finger painting transformed into a mix-cover last entry, he so had to crank one out for me too !! It's entitled "Freaky Beatnik" (with hat, shades & semi-smile). What's next...pictures of my pets? (on a 'Pet Shop Boys' single artist mix??) 'encoded' is a blending of CD, LP and mp3 noise. A personal mix, really, where rules and genres (eight @ last count) were wantonly tossed aside in order to achieve an entirely self-serving mix-o-thing-y (read: it lives in my walkman). Quietly kicking ass! Au revoir.

I see it now...g.a.b labs' art protogee children will find their paintings achieving top dollar and will become the flavour de jour of the New Yok art circuit. Art openings will be filled with the sounds of these tapes while people clad in black demanding "MORE RED WINE!!", buy up the art and the profits go into the quest of these nifty sounds.

...sometimes there's a Rembrandt amidst those take-home papers-! I scan the usually 8.5 x 11 original into Power Point, then size it to 4 x 2.5 for the j-card. ~:-p

Another good mix, G.A.B.! Your son does terrific stuff in his chosen medium. I hope you don't mind, but I "borrowed" his image and re-worked it. Please tell him that he is a great inspiration...

another amazing mix. would love to trade for this one as well. just reading your track listings takes me on marvelous internal excursions! your children are without a doubt art brut luminaries. freaky beatnik reminds me very much of the ol' shiny beast (bat chain puller). color scheme-wise, anyway...
