Comment:
Another mix for Rob Conroy. This is primarily a collection of songs that blew me away the first time I heard them, and then continued to listen to over and over. The title is from the Flaming Lips song.Feedback:
This is also great. I was pleased as punch to see "Wichita Lineman" and "I Know a Place" right from the get-go, as I've been wanting those tunes (but did not want to purchase a Glen Campbell or Petula Clark record). Thanks, too, for the Elton John track. Your Kinks pick was absolutely revolutionary... a DAVE song, and his best, to boot. I've also long been a fan of the Flaming Lips, Monkees and Marvin Gaye tunes... anyway, all around, a nice job.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the wonderful Nick Drake pick, as well.
Wow you rock. Would you like to wed me? Nice title and Glen Cambell seletion, but I think it was the Herb Alpert number that made me fall helplessly in love with you. So, Vegas by Elvis or is that to predictible.
Rob, I'm glad you like the disc, and I am happy to hear I supplied you with some songs you were looking for.
PapaMaceo, thank you.
PapaMaceo, thank you.
this is lovely - it brightens my northern (well, actually southern!) sky...
Once again, great, nice to see Herb Alpert;)
Really good, too.
