Comment:
Very little to say here... other than John Doe and Exene's voices harmonized like no two voices have before or since, and that Billy Zoom is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. This comp focuses only on their first four albums, not because their other work is "bad," per se, but it doesn't match the quality of their first three years of transcendence. Last track cut: "Back 2 the Base." [Revised 3/1/08.]Feedback:
Not to mention the steady beat keeping skills of DJ Bonebrake. X is one of those bands that keep sounding better and better as time paints a clear perspective.
Cool mix....In case you haven't heard, X's first 3 albums; "Los Angeles", "Wild gift" and "Under the Big Black Sun" are being released by Rhino Records in 2 weeks. Can't wait.
I would love to trade for this mix!
nice. takes me back to my college days...
damn, i just made mix like this not long ago-check it out.
i would lovelovelove a copy of this mix. *pretty please*
Wow -- yet another great comp. And yet another I'd love to have... I am seriously stopping myself from looking at any more of your comps now...
